Excursion to Pienza city

The city of Pienza is included in the UNESCO list, as is the Val d’Orcia itself, in the center of which it is located. This is a real kingdom of cheeses and a true embodiment of Renaissance architectural standards. The local “city development plan” belongs entirely to the pen of Pontiff Pius II. You will taste local delicacies, Tuscan wines, and most importantly the famous Pecorino sheep cheese.
